★ A Breath of Life

The day started with a fun time at the picnic and ended in.. well..

us being really dead and lazy haha

Ok, so the day started off with chores and… “hw” Unfortunately I didn’t make it to the picnic until 2:30, an hour after 1:30, which is when it was supposed to start. Of course being who we are, everyone started showing up at around 2:30 anyway, so it’s all good

I was set on the yellow team with Anthony, Richard (not Cam), and Franklin. We later added Tina and.. DX i forgot his name… anyway, I’m not really sure what came of the teams, but we won the game where you have to pull off everyone’s piece of paper from their shoe, which is usually the game where you tie balloons to your ankles and try to pop everyone’s balloon. Of course, me not liking popping balloons and not liking spending money on buying balloons, we used paper instead it always worked for the kids. Anyway, I was really surprised, but the game boiled down to Frank and me teamed up against Scott. Poor Scott we got him good.

Then Colin and I went to buy a kite since I’ve never flown one and it was indeed a windy day. We drove all the way to Big Lots and to K Mart, neither of which had any kites D: maybe next time. We got back to the park in 7 minutes, not too shabby Colin

Yaup burgers were delicious and Nico and I running around doing crazy things while everyone else were dodgeballing was indeed interesting.. and delicious.. Haha, and indeed I got my one shot at Colin.. Poorly planned:

Richard: Here Audrey, throw this waterballoon at someone
me: ok… oooh, I want to throw it at Colin *points towards Colin
*Colin harmlessly sitting on the floor next to Kevin Yen
*Colin stands up and looks at waterballoon
me: *smile* I wasn’t going to do anything crazy
Richard: *in ears* she’s going after Kevin..

ya.. later I found out Richard thought I wanted to hit kevin, but he was wrong. Then I waited..

Colin was standing by a brick wall that I knew was perfect to break a waterballoon on… sooo.. POp! Colin= wet…Colin = confused for a second. Audrey = running. Xiwen, who was standing next to Audrey and wondering what Audrey was doing when Audrey asked Xiwen to step to the side before lifting a waterballoon = running. Colin = >:)
Audrey = running w/ out ammunition = poorly planned. Colin = running w/waterbottle that was nearby him. Audrey = uh oh. Nat = RUn Audrey!. Others = “omg are you crazy??”. Ya.. Colin got me good X] but at least I surprised him. Then Colin and Simon had a small fight. Soon we were all on a truce except Richard…

Audrey standing next to Richard. Audrey feel ice cold water drenching the entire left half of her body + socks D: Audrey runs and looks back in time to see Colin and Simon with a now empty ice chest lifted over Richard’s soaking head…. ya.. good times

Then we went over to Walnut and played some tennis, some ich spiele tennis, and a new version which you saw a picture of, … ok.. I forgot what I play tennis is in spanish.. but that’s what it is… it’s basically where we all get tired and play tennis sitting down XD haha.. we looked like beached seals

Then to the market and to Colin’s where we enjoyed delicious smoothies and totally died on his soft carpet :3
