Ich kann auf Deutsch sprechen!

Whew, way over due, but finally have a chance to jot ta bit, not much, but a bit.
Last weekend.. March 9-11… our German IB and AP kids took a trip up to Big Bear for Deutschlager! (German Language Camp thing) It was sehr fun! All weekend we spoke German
and though I tried my best, I did indeed speak a little English D: I couldn’t help it when soo many people around me were cheating and speaking English alomst all the time not to mention I have a very limited German vocabulary.
Exciting! I did make some new friends.. sorta, none that I would keep in touch with really except for Jenny
She’s amazing! Born in Korea, lived in Germany, speaks fluent German, better than her english
I spent a lot of my time with her. She’s really nice, friendly, and she’s a Christian. I enjoyed sitting with her during our Sunday church service, auf Deutsch. That was really cool too. We sang a couple of worship songs translated into German :3 and the director teacher guy of the camp lead the service. He gave a short message on how people think that the bible is like a fairytale (fairytales being the theme of the camp), but it’s not, it’s entirely real. I also got a chapter in the bible translated into German and can actually read it
I’m proud of myself haha.
HAHA. yea. the sunday service was awesome. cuz i UNDERSTOOD IT.
nein. ich kann deutsch VERSTEHEN!
That’s a nice Google Desktop Search t-shirt
