★ A Breath of Life

This post actually belongs in the yesterday section, as it is about yesterday.. but whatever.

Elliot and I were.. jogging.. to Vons yesterday to buy bread (I love bread!) and as we approached we suddenly heard a helicopter flying over head. It was circilng around the Vons shopping area. Then a bunch of police cars came… and and.. ya, it was pretty crazy. I counted eight police cars. The police were actually out of their cars with their guns in their hands hiding behind walls and trees.They soon blocked off the two entrances by Wells Fargo and practically had the place surrounded. It was pretty freaky, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many police in one place in Walnut… I dont’ think I’ve ever seen any Walnut police actually have their guns out. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them doing anything other than that one time they were arresting someone in front of my house… that was kinda scary. I wonder what they were doing. But despite the police with their guns, my mom just came and picked us up and we went around to the other entrance to buy our bread

In other exciting news, I made $25 today babysitting with Emmeline for her church’s couple’s fellowship. The kids were cute and lucky only one was hard to handle. It was amazingly easier than teaching sunday school AND I got paid.. quite interesting. I guess that’s why I felt kinda bad accepting the money.. but it was really nice of them
