Indeed, today, Valentines Day!

Thanks to Kevin for the lovely flower :D, to Alice and Anne for the delicious sweets, to Emme for the “anonymous-but-not-really” crush bottle, and to Angela for buying me a crush bottle (though I never recieved it D:). And most of all to Christine :D for, well a nice special time together :3 haha.

Heard of the Coldstone’s coupons for Valentine’s Day couples… well.. I suppose Christine and I are a couple! :P we took full advantage of their Valentine’s Day offer and bought two Love it size ice creams for the price of 1! But then… we splurged and bought 2 little bread rolls for 87 cents (amazingly we had the exact amount in change! excluding my 50 cents i keep everyday for water :3) Ah… what fun <3

And of course, out of my Audlee sense of curiosity, I have looked up the origins of Valentine’s Day on Wiki.. which amazingly isn’t that good a source this time. Aparently there were lots of guys named Valentine, but there was this one martyr which was a saint (I don’t understand entirely why they chose him though since there were 3 martyrs…). The holdiay was sillily made with no real bases except to cover up another pagan holiday. So what does Valentine’s Day mean? I have no idea! Ahh.. what fun <3

BUT alas, the fun ends here D: What stress I have, what work must be done! So much to do, so little time, and so little time management (ex. I’m blogging at 11 with my German work yet to be done). My last math I.A. is due on Friday so I really should get working, seeing as how I have barely started and tomorrow I won’t be home till about 9 because of the Orchestra concert (which is going to be amazing by the way). I’m hoping to finish reading the 3 chapters of Damals war es Friedrich tonight (now, that may not sound like much to you, but reading in German is about 10 times slower than English, therefore 3 chapters = 3 hours of German funness!) Ahh… what fun

Edit: And my wonderful spidey valentine :3

really…? hmm wheni heard the story i didn’t hear the part about him dying a martyr i just know that he wedded couples without the king’s permission because the king wanted to go to war so he didn’t allow young people to get married. then valentine was thrown into jail and wrote letters to someone he fell in love with and supposedly that’s why we “write letters” on valentines day
