Dragons
Published by aud May 3rd, 2006 in Good idea Bad ideaWell, now that I think about it, why do people like dragons so much? My opinion- they’re like dinosaurs. Big huge creatures that don’t seem to be possible but we know (or at least think we know) that they did at some point in time exist. The thing that makes dragons more interesting to write about is that they have personalities and they breath fire and just seem to always get caught in battles with humans. With dinosaurs, most of them were extinct before they could have possibly interacted with humans while dragons lived during the time of civilization (of course I’m pressuming that they were real). Because they lived with humans, it’s just more fun to write stories of the interactions. Dragons are usually described as intelligent creatures like humans which can be befriended or of course fought against. THen there’s the flying thing that is so awsome and the possibility that we can ride on them! That would be so cool - dragon rider. It’s fun to daydream about living with dragons the same way it’s fun to daydream about being a superhero with mutant powers.
Case you never got to see discovery channel’s newest documentary on dragons, I suggest you search for it (i’m not in the mood at the moment) it’s really interesting. Did you know that they actually found a real dragon in the mountains, frozen to perfection?? I want to be a dragon rider XD
dragons have psychic powers. and mental telepathy. now THAT’s awesome. i want a dragon that i can mentally communicate with.
If you work hard enough, when you grow up, you will achieve your goal and be whatever you want - president of the united states, find a cure for cancer, be a dragon rider…
