Dying is like being born
Published by aud April 19th, 2006 in Q-otesJust as when we come into the world, when we die we are afraid of the unknown. But the fear is something from within us that has nothing to do with reality. Dying is like being born: just a change.

After writing my World Lit, I realized how cool this quote was. Profound yet so simplistic and easy to understand. Really, this is the way that Christians view, or should view, death. It’s not something we should be afraid of because it is just a passing, just a change. The pain may be a factor though, I’ve always been afraid of a painful death, but really, it’s not a big deal. I’m pretty sure I’m not going to have to deal with some horrific death or anything, but I guess you never know. Even with that pain though, when you get to heaven, your probably not going to remember it or worry about what had happened in your death.
i want to die in my sleep! so i can open my eyes and instantly be in heaven. haha.
of course, christians shouldn’t fear death because we know that it’s just the beginning to eternal bliss. and yea, i’m just afraid that i’ll feel pain right before i die.
No pain, no gain, as they say.
(I don’t know who ‘they’ are, but it sounds right.)
